Jimmy Needham, More Than a Song
What is the heart behind our worship?
Enjoy the everyday ways in which God continues to supply all we need.
Gratitude – Louie Schwartzberg
From what forms of bondage are you praying for freedom? Have you enabled others to partner with you in the struggle?
What is our expectation in response to prayer? Are we like Rhoda who only has to hear the Voice and know the reality of what occurred? Or are we too shocked when God steps in, like Peter and the disciples?
Are we quick to dismiss promptings that come in unconventional or unforeseen ways? How does this story challenge and encourage you to give these times more consideration?
Who are the people-groups that we have difficulty accepting due to our life story?
How can we move beyond the rule of the law to the heart behind it so that it governs and motivates our actions?
Is our presence in the room perceived as condemnation and self-righteousness or love and humility?
In which of our relationships has our pride/selfishness gotten in the way?
Has the outcome of those actions been like the butter or the blood?
What would lead to restoration, and promise of a better outcome as a result of the attitudes of our hearts?
